Cyprus is experiencing a decrease in airline seat availability this summer due to regional geopolitical tensions, according to Hermes Airports.
The ongoing conflict, particularly involving the U.S., Israel, and Iran, has impacted tourist arrivals to the island. A British base in Cyprus was previously targeted by a drone strike.
Airlines have trimmed their schedules, although recent weeks show a promising recovery with passenger load factors improving, especially in crucial tourist markets like Britain and Poland.
