Hyderabad Retail Summit: Redefining the Future of Retail
The fifth edition of the Hyderabad Retail Summit hosted by the Retailers Association of India brought together industry leaders to explore key retail trends and challenges. The summit highlighted the evolving consumer landscape in Hyderabad, the alignment of retail policy and reality in Telangana, and the importance of technology and data in shaping future retail strategies.
The Retailers Association of India (RAI) conducted its fifth Hyderabad Retail Summit at Hotel Trident, Hyderabad, drawing industry stakeholders to discuss key trends and challenges in the retail sector. The event emphasized RAI's philosophy of 'Connect–Converse–Collaborate–Catalyse', helping retailers identify strategic partners and growth opportunities.
Avnish Kumar, Managing Director of Neeru's and Chairman of RAI Hyderabad Chapter, highlighted the rapid changes in consumer expectations in Hyderabad. He projected that trends seen in Hyderabad today will soon be evident in cities like Warangal and Nizamabad, urging regional retailers to develop relevant capabilities now.
Other panelists, including Kumar Rajagopalan, CEO of RAI, stressed the strategic alignment between Telangana's retail policy and sectoral practices. Discussions revolved around topics like building enduring brands, the omni-channel ecosystem, and the significance of regional identity in retail. The summit underscored the transformative role of technology and data in driving retail innovation.
