Paradeep Phosphates Ltd (PPL) has announced a marginal dip in profits for the last quarter of the fiscal year 2025-26, attributing the 9.63% decrease primarily to rising expenses. The company's net profit was reported at Rs 155.60 crore, down from Rs 172.19 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Despite this quarterly decline, the fertiliser manufacturer showed significant resilience over the entire fiscal year with a 52.18% increase in net profit, reaching Rs 1,000.81 crore, up from Rs 657.62 crore. This growth is backed by a robust increase in total income and strategic capacity expansions.

In a move to strengthen its production capabilities, PPL commissioned new sulphuric acid plants, marking a 45% capacity boost, and is on track to double its phosphoric acid capacity. The company's effective distribution network facilitated a 22% rise in NPK sales, reflecting its solid operational framework.
