Madhya Pradesh's Historic Rs 29,540 Crore Development Boost

In a significant move, the Madhya Pradesh government has sanctioned a colossal Rs 29,540 crore for wide-ranging infrastructure and welfare projects. The ambitious outlay was approved during a cabinet meeting headed by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday.
The funds aim to boost infrastructure development, health services, irrigation, and social security. The financial package includes Rs 15,598 crore for public-funded initiatives and Rs 6,900 crore to enhance urban roads. Social security saw Rs 6,116 crore allocated for senior citizens' pensions.
In health sector advancements, Rs 763.40 crore has been designated for new medical infrastructure, including a medical college in Budhni. Additionally, Rs 163.95 crore will propel the Khumansingh Shivaji Reservoir Irrigation Project in Neemuch district, covering 5,200 hectares across 22 villages.
