AERA Sets Competitive Tariffs for Noida International Airport
The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) has announced the user development fees for the Noida International Airport, set to begin operations on June 15, 2026. Domestic departing passengers will be charged Rs 490, while international departures will incur a fee of Rs 980.
The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) has established the user development fee (UDF) for the upcoming Noida International Airport, expected to start operations by June 15, 2026.
For domestic passengers departing from the airport, the fee is set at Rs 490, a reduction from the Rs 653 initially proposed by the airport's operator. Meanwhile, international travelers departing from the facility will pay Rs 980, below the operator's earlier requested Rs 1,200.
AERA clarified that this pricing aligns with the national average for major airports. Additionally, the authority has introduced a Variable Tariff Plan (VTP) to incentivize airlines initiating new routes and expanding their network from this new location.
