New Delhi [India], May 18: The Civil Services Examination, organized by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), stands as one of India's most competitive academic challenges. While passing the Preliminary stage is crucial, the Main examination and personality test pose even greater difficulties for candidates.

Many qualified aspirants find themselves struggling in these stages due to a lack of structured guidance, resources, and a stable preparation environment. Addressing this need, Drishti IAS launched the ASMITA initiative in 2021 to provide ongoing academic and logistical support for candidates post-Prelims. Notably, ASMITA's unique offering is its continuity, integrating candidates into a support system that covers the Mains, Interview, and potentially subsequent exam cycles.

Through ASMITA, selected candidates are invited to Delhi, where Drishti IAS ensures a supportive preparation environment, allowing aspirants to focus on studies without financial or logistical worries. The initiative provides residential and meal support, 24/7 library access, one-on-one mentorship, answer-writing practice, mock interviews, and continued academic support. Starting 2026, even students in the GS Foundation Course will receive structured support.
