A tragic collision between a truck and an auto-rickshaw in Bihar's Khagaria district claimed the lives of seven individuals, including a two-month-old infant. The accident occurred on National Highway-31 in the Mansi area, as reported by local police officials.
The auto-rickshaw, carrying a woman, a boy, four men, and the infant, collided head-on with the speeding truck, leading to the devastating casualties. Four others sustained injuries and have been rushed to a nearby government hospital for treatment.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Sadar) Mukul Kumar Ranjan stated that authorities are actively investigating the accident and working to confirm the identities of the deceased and injured.
