Chaos on Kolkata's Blue Line: Man Disrupted Services

Kolkata Metro Railway services faced a major disruption on Monday when a man allegedly jumped in front of a moving train at the busy Rabindra Sarobar station, causing chaos for commuters on the 'Blue Line.'
The incident occurred around 4.10 pm and resulted in more than an hour of disruption. Metro services between Shahid Khudiram and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar stations, as well as Maidan and Dakshineswar, were operated in a truncated manner to manage the unexpected halt.
Authorities quickly responded to the situation, rescuing the middle-aged man from the tracks and rushing him to the hospital. By 5.15 pm, normal services resumed, restoring order to the affected stretch of the metro line.
