Explosion Rocks Tanker Off Oman's Coast: A Maritime Alert

An external explosion has occurred on a tanker near its port side, approximately 60 nautical miles off the coast of Muscat, Oman, according to United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reports.

UKMTO has confirmed the safety of both the vessel and its crew, despite the incident.

However, it has been noted that the tanker discharged some bunker fuel into the sea, raising concerns over potential environmental impact.
