Rajasthan Governor Advocates Innovative Education and Revival of Traditional Knowledge

Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde urged educational institutions to focus on enhancing intellectual capacity rather than merely distributing degrees, while speaking at an event in Kota.

Bagde highlighted the effectiveness of ancient 'gurukul' education systems, which, despite lacking engineering degrees, produced technically proficient individuals capable of constructing solid structures.

He emphasized the need for practical learning and advised technical universities to innovate and elevate India's global technological identity. Additionally, he called for the modernization of agricultural education and stressed the importance of natural farming and water conservation, addressing a growing concern about India's population sustainability and food production.
