Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar described the National Education Policy as a 'civilisational renaissance' and a bold initiative to position India as an academic superpower. During a speech in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, he emphasized the policy's objective of transforming citizens into job creators and skilled professionals.
Dhankhar praised the L N Mishra College of Business Management for highlighting the theme 'Indian Knowledge Tradition and the Perspective of National Education Policy 2020'. He noted that India's education history has been value-based, preventing its commercialisation.
The Vice President celebrated Bihar as a cradle of philosophical thought and historical movements, such as the Champaran Satyagrah, and highlighted India's young demographic as a key strength. Bihar Industries Minister praised PM Narendra Modi's vision in the policy's creation.
