Goa's Countdown to NEP 2020: A Roadmap for Educational Transformation

Goa is set to embrace a significant educational reform, with Chief Minister Pramod Sawant revealing plans to implement the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 across all schools by 2028. Currently, this policy is already active in non-technical undergraduate colleges.
In the state assembly, Sawant, also handling the education portfolio, underscored the phased approach being adopted for the rollout in schools. This strategic implementation aligns with directives from various national educational bodies.
To ensure smooth adoption, block-level training sessions are being organized for educators, focusing on essential areas in sync with NEP's educational overhaul. This initiative is a response to a query by BJP MLA Nilesh Cabral.
