A year after a tragic coaching center incident claimed the lives of three students, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is transforming grief into meaningful change by establishing modern libraries, one of which will soon open in Dwarka.
Lt Governor VK Saxena directed the DDA to offer conducive reading spaces, and the third Aarambh library will provide an array of modern amenities and learning facilities. This initiative aims to create safer alternatives to overcrowded and unsafe coaching centers in Delhi.
Following pilot success in Rajinder Nagar, these fully-equipped libraries offer modern utilities, security, and affordable access. Three shifts per day accommodate up to 180 students per library, with nominal monthly fees. More libraries are planned, continuing the commitment to educational transformation.
