Tragedy Strikes: School Building Collapse in Rajasthan Claims Young Lives

A tragic event unfolded as a part of a government school building in Jhalawar district, Rajasthan, collapsed on Friday, claiming the lives of four children and injuring 17 others, according to police reports.

The incident occurred at Peeplodi Government School, Manoharthana block, while the children prepared for their morning prayers. Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar confirmed the fatalities and injuries, highlighting that several critically injured children were transported to specialized health centers for treatment.

Education Minister Madan Dilawar has called for a thorough inquiry into the collapse and directed immediate assistance for the injured. The tragedy also drew reactions from former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, who expressed hopes for a speedy recovery of the injured and minimal loss of life.
