A devastating incident occurred at the Piplod Government School in Rajasthan's Jhalawar district as a portion of the building collapsed, leading to the deaths of four children and injuries to 17 others, police reported.
Children were gathered for morning prayers when the structure gave way. Initial reports indicate that 27 students were present in the upper primary classes when the roof collapsed, compelling an urgent rescue operation by teachers and villagers to retrieve the children from the debris.
