The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) inaugurated its third Aarambh Library in Dwarka Sector 16-B, aiming to improve student study environments across the capital. This initiative marks a significant step following the tragic July 2024 incident when three civil service aspirants lost their lives in a flooded library basement.

The Aarambh initiative began with the first library in January 2025 and aims to offer modern, safe, and affordable study spaces. The newly opened facility in Dwarka includes advanced amenities such as air-conditioning, separate washrooms, and an open-air gym, ensuring a holistic study environment available 24/7 at a nominal fee.

During the library's inauguration, LG VK Saxena emphasized the government's dedication to enhancing educational infrastructure to prevent future tragedies. The DDA plans to expand the Aarambh Library network further, with upcoming branches in Vikaspuri and Rohini, to continue supporting students' academic pursuits.
