In a significant development coinciding with the fifth anniversary of India's National Education Policy, three prominent Australian universities have been granted approval to set up campuses in India. Officials confirmed that Western Sydney University, Victoria University, and La Trobe University received the Letters of Intent on Tuesday.

Western Sydney University, a leading public research institution established in 1989, plans to establish its new branch in Greater Noida, marking its foray into the Indian education market. Known for its focus on sustainability and social impact, WSU will offer degrees including a BA in Business Analytics and an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Meanwhile, Victoria University, celebrated for its applied research in sports science and IT, aims to launch a campus in Noida offering courses in Business, Data Science, and Cyber Security. La Trobe University, an institution recognized for its cutting-edge research in smart cities, will open its Bengaluru campus, providing degrees in fields like Computer Science and Public Health.
