The education sector in Maharashtra is set for a transformation as the State Government teams up with The Art of Living Sri Sri Rural Development Programme Trust. A landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed to revamp 150 schools in 10 districts, elevating them into aspirational spaces of comprehensive learning.
The initiative, backed by Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, focuses on multiple areas such as digital infrastructure enhancement, emotional wellbeing, and modern pedagogy for teachers. These interventions include the introduction of digital smart classrooms, STEM labs, and comprehensive wellbeing programs for students.
The project will unfold over three years, funded through CSR and philanthropic contributions. This vision aims to create empowered educational environments that promote academic excellence and holistic development, aligning with the broader vision of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
