Emphasizing the need for innovative education, Jammu and Kashmir's Education Minister Sakina Itoo stated her commitment to preparing the youth for global challenges. Speaking on Wednesday, Itoo inaugurated a two-day international conference on multidisciplinary research at the Government Gandhi Memorial Science College.
The event features 178 researchers presenting their work, showcasing the importance of research-driven education in addressing contemporary challenges. Itoo, who also oversees health and social welfare, commended the college for fostering a culture of inquiry and innovation among students and researchers.
Calling the conference a unique platform for academic exchange, Itoo envisaged it as pivotal in enhancing educational standards in the region. College principal Romesh Kumar Gupta further echoed this vision, reaffirming the institution's dedication to academic excellence and societal progress through quality education and research.
