TUMO, Armenia's groundbreaking creative technology education network, is preparing to launch India's inaugural center this November in Mumbai. This move will introduce Indian students to a revolutionary, self-paced learning program in digital fields, including robotics, graphic design, and artificial intelligence.
The Mumbai center, set to accommodate up to 1,500 students, aims to equip learners aged 12-18 with high-level digital skills regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds. According to Pegor Papazian, Chief Development Officer at TUMO, the initiative will focus on future-ready skills and trending disciplines, vital for students' innovation and success.
While TUMO doesn't confer traditional degrees, it offers students the opportunity to build portfolios that showcase their work. These can be featured in competitions or on platforms like app stores. The center's launch is seen as a strategic gateway to South Asia, with plans to expand across other Indian cities in the future.
