The Mizoram government is intensifying its efforts to establish a Japanese language learning center in Aizawl, according to an official announcement on Thursday.

Mizoram Youth Commission chairman Malsawmzuala Ralte recently met with NSDCI CEO Alok Kumar in New Delhi to discuss this initiative. Ralte emphasized the growing interest among Mizoram's youth in pursuing caregiving and nursing careers in Japan, stressing the need for local language training opportunities.

Currently, youths from Mizoram are sent to Noida for Japanese language courses, a process hindered by distance and logistics. In response, Kumar has agreed to consider the request, with NSDCI planning a state visit soon to evaluate further actions.
