The Delhi Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, declared on Friday a significant advancement in the national capital's education infrastructure. A new Kendriya Vidyalaya will soon rise in the trans-Yamuna area, specifically in Khajuri Khas, thanks to land provided by the Delhi government.
During her announcement, Gupta expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting his commitment to strengthening India's education system through widespread establishment of Kendriya Vidyalayas. This particular school is part of a broader initiative to ensure quality education and foster self-reliance in future generations.
The school, initially catering to grades 1 through 5, marks the 47th Kendriya Vidyalaya in the region. The project, approved and facilitated by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, promises eventual expansion, aiming to serve more students in the years to come.
