In a significant move toward embracing digital education, Delhi's school teachers are poised for hands-on training to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools within classrooms. The program aims to personalize learning experiences and enhance assessments, as emphasized in a recent circular by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Delhi.

This initiative is set to redefine teaching methodologies, preparing students for a future intertwined with digital learning. The training, scheduled for October 8 and 9 under the 'AI-Mediated Classroom Project,' is designed to equip teachers with critical skills to leverage AI effectively in the educational setting, an official disclosed to PTI.

Currently involving 1,075 government schools, the project will train 100 Computer Science teachers from 50 schools as master trainers in its first phase. They will subsequently train peers in Mathematics, Science, English, Hindi, and Social Science, assisting teachers to better utilize AI for various academic and non-academic tasks.
