Girls Shine Again: CBSE Class 10 Board Exam Results Announced
The CBSE has announced the results for this year's Class 10 board exams, with girls outperforming boys yet again. A total of 93.70% students passed, with 94.99% of girls clearing the exam, while over 55,000 students scored above 95%. More than 1.47 lakh candidates fell into the 'compartment' category.

On Wednesday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the much-awaited results for the Class 10 board exams. According to the board, the results indicated a slight increase from last year's pass percentage, clocking in at 93.70%, with girls leading the way.
The results revealed that 94.99% of girls who appeared for the exam had cleared it, surpassing boys by 1.3 percentage points. This year saw 24.71 lakh candidates sitting for the exams, conducted across 8,074 centers, with over 55,000 students achieving scores above 95%.
The data also indicated a slight reduction in the number of students placed in the 'compartment' category, counted at over 1.47 lakh. Officials noted that this year marked the introduction of two editions for the Class 10 exams, with the first being mandatory.
