The Design Village (TDV), India's cutting-edge design institute, has marked a significant milestone by inaugurating its first international campus in Italy. Located at Villa Castello di Torrazzetta, Borgo Priolo, the campus represents a fusion between Indian and European design educational frameworks.

In a ceremony graced by notable figures including Lavanya Kumar, Consul General of India to Italy, and Maria Porro, President of Salone del Mobile, the launch highlights a commitment to creating an open dialogue across cultures. The event underscored the strategic focus on global exposure, interdisciplinary learning, and responding to global design challenges.

Set to operate from 2026, the campus will host various programs including residencies in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano. This initiative underscores TDV's vision of transcending geographical barriers in design education, aiming to foster a dynamic ecosystem for students and professors globally.
