In the latest results from the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, girls have outperformed in both Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. A remarkable 90.42% of candidates passed the Class 10 exam, while 80.38% succeeded in Class 12.
Notably, Kashish Verma from Sitapur and Anshika Verma from Barabanki achieved the highest marks in the Class 10 exam with an impressive score of 97.83%, followed by Aditi from Barabanki with 97.5%. In Class 12, Shikha Verma led with 97.6%.
The board exams, held from February 18 to March 12, 2026, saw participation from over 26 lakh students, with girls dominating the top positions and passing rates.
