Modernizing Maulana Azad Medical College: A 30-Year Vision

The Delhi Government has taken a significant step toward the rejuvenation of the Maulana Azad Medical College campus, with chief minister Rekha Gupta announcing the approval of an extensive study to guide its redevelopment.

Spanning 137 acres, the campus comprises pivotal institutions such as Lok Nayak Hospital and Guru Nanak Eye Centre. Recognizing its role as a vital healthcare and educational network, Gupta highlighted the long-felt necessity for integrated redevelopment.

The plan unfolds in three phases: crafting a 30-year master plan aligning with regulations, auditing current infrastructure, and orchestrating new developments to create a state-of-the-art campus. Officials emphasized that all supplementary infrastructure will align to ensure the campus is systematic and innovative.
