Modi Unveils State-of-the-Art Sardar Dham Hostel for Patidar Students
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate a new hostel complex by the Sardar Dham Trust for the Patidar community in Vadodara. The 150 crore facility, spanning five lakh square feet, features modern amenities to support the educational and developmental needs of 2,000 students.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a state-of-the-art hostel complex for the Patidar community in Vadodara on May 11, the Sardar Dham Trust announced. This facility aims to accommodate 2,000 students and serves as a crucial educational hub.
The construction of the Sardar Dham complex, initiated in 2021, cost Rs 150 crore and occupies five lakh square feet. Additional facilities include a UPSC study center, library, gym, and medical center, designed to support holistic student development.
In preparation, district authorities have mobilized various committees for the event, expected to draw around 50,000 attendees from the Patidar community. The Vadodara Municipal Corporation is also arranging for the expected large crowd greeting Prime Minister Modi along his route.
