RJD's national working president Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday slammed the NDA government in Bihar for not taking action against a BJP MLA who allegedly assaulted a man after barging into his house. Referring to a viral video, Yadav said the MLA from Muzaffarpur allegedly assaulted a person by forcibly entering his residence. ''The MLA, along with his supporters, is seen engaging in a scuffle with a person in the video,'' Yadav said. PTI, however, could not independently verify the video's authenticity. He also criticised police action against protesting teaching job aspirants in Patna. ''While there is no action against the MLA, the police baton-charged teaching job aspirants in the state capital, including women, on Friday. On top of it, over 5,000 TRE-4 protestors have been booked and several arrested by police,'' he said. Police allegedly used batons to disperse the crowd when a large number of teaching job aspirants held a demonstration here on Friday to protest the delay in notifying the date for the BPSC TRE 4.0 exam. On Saturday, 5,000 protestors were booked and four named accused arrested for causing injury to police personnel and obstructing traffic. Yadav alleged that while students are facing harsh action, the goons and the criminals are having a field day under the NDA government in Bihar. Claiming that law and order have collapsed in the state, Yadav said affiliation to the BJP has become a license for hooliganism. Despite repeated attempts, the MLA could not be reached out for comments on Yadav's allegations.
