Governor Highlights Morality Crisis Amid NEET Paper Leak Controversy

Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagade, speaking at the ninth convocation ceremony of Agriculture University, Kota, voiced concerns over declining moral standards following the NEET 2026 exam paper leak. Highlighting the importance of cultural values, he asserted that if morality were upheld, such breaches would not occur.

The governor addressed the fallout from the exam's cancellation, which affected over 22 lakh medical aspirants. Bagade also urged action against drug addiction among the youth, attributing the influx of drugs to efforts to destabilize the country.

Focusing on agriculture's pivotal role in the economy, the governor called for unutilized land to be brought into cultivation to boost productivity. He emphasized modernizing agricultural education as essential for rural development and economic growth. The convocation saw 358 candidates receiving degrees, with 14 gold medals awarded.
