An advocate has put forth a request to the Directorate of Education, seeking an investigation into the reported merging or discontinuation of English medium sections for Class 11 in some Delhi government schools.
Ashok Agarwal, who submitted the request, highlighted challenges faced by students transitioning from English medium education in Class 10. Issues have arisen at CR Dass SKV in Seelampur and other schools in northeast Delhi. The Directorate of Education has yet to comment, but the Deputy Director of Education has assured an inquiry is underway. Concerns about academic performance and communication skills have been expressed, urging timely intervention.
