Education Ministry Evaluates Samagra Shiksha Funds for Greater Transparency

The Indian Ministry of Education recently conducted a thorough assessment of the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan's financial allocations, aiming to refine the programme's upcoming phase by focusing on transparency, efficiency, and outcomes.

The initiative will see heightened integration with other key education schemes such as PM-POSHAN and ULLAS to bolster the school education framework. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted the necessity for enhanced cooperation between the Centre and states, reflecting the ideals of cooperative federalism.

The emphasis will also be on implementing the National Education Policy 2020, with a strong push towards innovation and skill development among students. These efforts form part of a broader strategy to cultivate empowered learners and develop human capital, envisioned in India's Viksit Bharat 2047 goals.
