The Uttar Pradesh government has announced plans to honor the top students from the Madrasa Board examinations with a special ceremony in Lucknow. The top ten students from both Munshi/Maulvi and Alim examinations will be invited to receive recognition for their achievements, with the top three in each category receiving tablets.

The state aims to modernize madrassa education, offering high-quality learning opportunities for students from minority communities. Danish Azad Ansari indicated this endeavor is part of a larger initiative to integrate these students more fully into the mainstream educational framework.

According to official figures, 80,933 students registered for the exams, with 63,211 sitting for them and 55,788 successfully passing. The ceremony, set for early June, seeks to acknowledge the success of a diverse group, including an equal number of male and female top performers.
