The ABVP has underscored the necessity of strengthening ties between educational institutions and industries to position India as a global innovation leader. Virendra Singh Solanki, the general secretary, stressed this during the organization's three-day National Executive Council meeting in Bhubaneswar.

Solanki urged Indian industries to ramp up their research and development investments and to establish enduring partnerships with universities and burgeoning innovators. He expressed confidence in the younger generation's ability to elevate the nation with their talents and innovative approach.

The meeting concluded with four significant resolutions concerning educational reforms, threats from 'urban Maoism', the issue of religious conversions targeting women, and adapting to global geopolitical shifts. Solanki articulated that these resolutions are not just responses to current challenges but part of a broader vision for a self-reliant and secure India.

The conference gathered over 400 members from 46 organizational provinces, discussing various national issues. ABVP also commemorated the 60th anniversary of the SEIL initiative and announced plans for campaigns focusing on national integration and historical events.
