A Mississippi man, identified as 48-year-old Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, has been charged with stalking and vandalism following a worrying incident at Jennifer Aniston's Bel-Air mansion on May 5. Carwyle is facing up to three years in California state prison if convicted of these felonies, according to Deadline reports.
Currently held on a $150,000 bail, Carwyle is due for arraignment on Thursday at the Los Angeles Superior Court. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office accuses him of repeatedly harassing Aniston over several months, which escalated with his vehicle crashing through her property's gates.
Aniston was home during the incident but remained unharmed as her security team quickly detained Carwyle until the Los Angeles Police arrived. District Attorney Nathan Hochman emphasized the serious nature of stalking, asserting the office's commitment to prosecuting such threats.
The case is overseen by Deputy District Attorney Sam Hulefeld and the specialized Stalking and Threat Assessment Team. Aniston's architectural Bel-Air property is recognized for its design and holds a high-profile status in the Los Angeles area.
Jennifer Aniston, famed for her roles in 'Friends' and 'The Morning Show', has not issued any public remarks regarding the incident. (ANI)
