Celebrating a Legacy: Karunanidhi's Bust Unveiled in Taramani

A tribute to the legacy of Tamil Nadu's former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi took place on Monday, with the unveiling of his bust by Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin at Taramani. The solemn ceremony was attended by prominent officials, paying homage to the late DMK stalwart.
In addition to the bust unveiling, Udhayanidhi Stalin also inaugurated a newly established entrance arch at the Tamilarasu office, a division under the state's Information and Public Relations Department. The entrance, constructed at a cost of Rs 25 lakh, commemorates the birth centenary of Karunanidhi, celebrating his enduring influence in the state's history and governance.
The event was marked by floral tributes to the decorated portrait of Karunanidhi, with Tamil Development and Information Minister M P Saminathan and other dignitaries, including Chennai Mayor R Priya, marking their presence. Their participation underscored the continued respect and remembrance attributed to Karunanidhi's contributions.
