India's Yoga Day Extravaganza: A Cultural Fusion of Wellness at Iconic Heritage Sites

The Ministry of Culture plans to mark the International Day of Yoga on June 21 by organizing yoga sessions at 100 iconic landmarks and 50 cultural sites across India. Included among these locations are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, officials announced on Thursday.
The primary celebrations will occur in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, state Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expected to lead the event, according to the ministry.
Furthermore, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) will host yoga sessions at five heritage monument sites in Punjab and Haryana in collaboration with its Chandigarh Circle. The theme 'Yoga for One Earth, One Health' highlights the connection between human well-being and ecological balance.
