The Kailash Manasarovar Yatra has officially resumed after a six-year pause, with the first group of 33 pilgrims and two liaison officers departing on Friday.
The yatra was ceremoniously flagged off by Governor Om Prakash Mathur at the Sino-Indian border in East Sikkim, marking a significant cultural and religious undertaking for participants.
State departments and paramilitary forces have collaborated to ensure the pilgrimage proceeds smoothly, safeguarding the well-being and comfort of the travelers. This year, 750 Indian pilgrims are set to embark on the journey, showcasing continued faith and commitment.
