Snooker Icon Jimmy White Makes a Grand Cameo in 'Write To Kill'

Snooker legend Jimmy White is set to make a cameo appearance in the upcoming series 'Write To Kill', created by renowned author and producer David P. Perlmutter. This news was first reported by Deadline.

The series chronicles the life of a young writer burdened by writer's block and financial woes, who is presented with an unsettling proposition. As he navigates the dangerous waters of London's underworld led by a fearsome crime boss known as Mad Dog, he faces a complex moral quandary—accept the offer, commit a crime, and forsake his innocence forever.

The directorial reins have been handed to Lillee Jean Trueman, with actress Charlotte Kirk joining the cast. The male lead remains undisclosed. White's role is pivotal as the director of an estate agency who tasks himself with firing the protagonist in a memorable snooker hall scene. Filming is slated for London and New York, and the pilot episode is penned by Perlmutter along with Michael Gorman from Kat Harvey Films.
