Bobby Deol's silent yet poignant performance in the film Animal has sparked a creative overhaul in a new historical epic. Director Jyothi Krisna was so moved by Deol's dialogue-free portrayal that he reimagined the character of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb for the upcoming movie Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
"Bobby Deol's performance was spellbinding and opened new avenues for creative interpretation," said Krisna. The director revised the script to craft a more intense and magnetic Aurangzeb, giving the character a deeper emotional arc.
Produced by A.M. Ratnam and A. Dayakar Rao, the film, set to release on July 24, promises a dramatic saga set in the Mughal era, starring Pawan Kalyan as Veera Mallu alongside a reinvented Deol.
