Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha led a critical meeting on Tuesday to assess the final preparations for the annual Amarnath Yatra.

The high-level meeting included Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, DGP J-K Nalin Prabhat, and other senior figures from police, civil administration, and the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, according to an official representative.

Governor Sinha emphasized the importance of widely disseminating the traffic advisory to avoid inconveniencing the public during the 38-day pilgrimage commencing Thursday. He reviewed the comprehensive plans for traffic and security management to ensure a smooth, safe pilgrimage. Coordination between district administrations, SSPs, and departments is crucial for maintaining designated convoy movements and effective traffic plan execution, the LG stated.
