The fifth season of the popular show 'Emily in Paris' is expanding its roster with fresh faces, including Bryan Greenberg and Michèle Laroque. Greenberg, known for his work on 'Suits LA', will take on the role of Jake, an American based in Paris. Laroque, celebrated for her performances in 'Ma vie en Rose' and 'The Closet', joins as Yvette, a familiar companion of Sylvie Grateau.
Returning cast members include Paul Forman as Nico, Arnaud Binard as Laurent G, and other series regulars like Lily Collins playing Emily Cooper and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie. They will be joined by Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Lucien Laviscount, Eugenio Franceschini, and Thalia Besson.
Production for the new season began in May, initially set in Rome, before resuming in Paris come June. The storyline resumes right after the fourth season, with Emily adjusting to her job leading Agence Grateau's Italian arm while enjoying the company of Marcello, the self-assured inheritor of a luxurious cashmere business.
