Diddy Acquitted of Major Charges but Faces Jail for Prostitution

A U.S. judge has rejected Sean "Diddy" Combs' plea for release from jail, despite his acquittal on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. The music mogul remains in custody after being found guilty of lesser offenses related to prostitution.

During a hearing in Manhattan federal court, Judge Arun Subramanian highlighted ample evidence of Combs' violent actions and determined he posed a danger to the community. Acquitted of more severe charges linked to two former partners, Combs could still face up to 10 years in prison for each count of transporting individuals for prostitution.

While the prosecution struggled to connect Combs' actions to sex trafficking, the defense argued that any interactions were consensual. Despite ongoing civil lawsuits, Combs maintains his innocence, denying all allegations against him.
