In June, India continued its reign as the top source of airborne tourists arriving in Nepal, attracting 32,662 visitors, confirmed by the Nepal Tourism Board.

The United States surpassed China to secure the second position, with 9,696 tourists, while China accounted for 6,736, Bangladesh for 5,449, and the UK for 2,284 arrivals.

Historically, China held the second spot until 2021 when U.S. tourism to Nepal surged. Despite a slight 0.91% decline in overall tourist arrivals compared to last year, Nepal welcomed 577,000 tourists in the first six months.
