Mumbai, July 21: Celebrated singer-composer Gayatri Asokan marked a new chapter in her musical journey by unveiling her first ghazal composition, "Dil Ke Behlane Ki," on July 19 at the iconic Khazana – Festival of Ghazals in Mumbai.
The launch, a highlight at Khazana's revered platform, was attended by music legends such as Hariharan, Talat Aziz, and Rekha Bhardwaj, adding prestige to the event. Gayatri described her composition as a heartfelt ode that balances tradition and contemporary elements, aiming to resonate with both purists and modern listeners.
