A delegation from various carpet-related councils met Abdullah at the Civil Secretariat, voicing concerns over the sales of counterfeit carpets misrepresented as authentic Kashmiri products.
The chief minister emphasized the detrimental impact fake products have on Kashmir's renowned carpet industry and urged stronger enforcement to safeguard both the craft's heritage and the livelihoods of local artisans.
