Bollywood actress Sanjana Sanghi recently commemorated the five-year anniversary of her debut film 'Dil Bechara', particularly remembering her co-star, the late Sushant Singh Rajput. Directed by Mukesh Chhabra, 'Dil Bechara' is a Hindi adaptation of the popular Hollywood film 'The Fault in Our Stars'.

Originally intended for a theatrical release, the film was instead premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Sanghi reflected on the enduring impact of the film and its characters, expressing her eternal gratitude to the audience for their love.

The film's storyline centers around two terminally ill characters, Manny, played by Rajput, and Kizie, portrayed by Sanghi, who find love in each other's company. Rajput's untimely death on June 14, 2020, shocked the nation, leading to significant legal proceedings and investigations, ultimately concluding as a suicide by the CBI.
