The expansive collection, meticulously gathered over decades starting when Gabarro was in his 60s, has now been officially recognized posthumously. After his passing at the age of 94, his children pursued the record as a heartfelt tribute to their parents' unique love for non-living dogs.
Among his descendants, Teresa Gabarro fondly recalls her parents' playful fondness for these figurines. Now, she allows her West Highland White Terrier to enjoy the collection, bridging her father's legacy with the warmth of living companionship.
