The 'Celebrating India Film Festival' (CIFF) is set to feature the world premiere of filmmaker Bharatbala's 'Aham Bharatam: I Am India' alongside a tribute to late actor-director Manoj Kumar. The event, organized by Graphisads Ltd with support from the Film and Television Institute of India and the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, will run from August 8 to 10 at the NCUI Auditorium.

The festival promises a rich selection of over 50 films revolving around the themes of environment, wildlife, tourism, heritage, art, culture, and spirituality. CIFF is more than just a festival, it represents a cultural movement inviting audiences to experience the spirit of India through transformative cinema, according to festival director Alok Kapur.

Highlights include a special screening of Manoj Kumar's film 'Kranti' and discussions with notable figures such as Grammy Award-winning composer Ricky Kej and filmmaker RS Prasanna. The festival will also feature a vintage film poster exhibition and a symposium on 'Preserving Culture Through Film' hosted in conjunction with IGNCA.
