Panda Pandemonium: Hong Kong Celebrates Giant Twins' First Birthday

Hong Kong is ready to erupt in celebrations as the city marks the first birthday of its cherished giant panda twins, Jia Jia and De De, on August 15. The tourism-led festivities promise to transform the city into a party extravaganza.

Spearheading the events, the Hong Kong Tourism Board has enlisted global influencers, including iconic names like the Stokes Twins from the US and child influencer Wang Xiaomai from Mainland China, to send video messages for the panda duo.

Beyond influencer involvement, Hong Kong will see panda-themed street decorations and a special collaboration with artist Kasing Lung. A unique LABUBU panda edition will also be available, culminating in a unique citywide event that highlights the pandas' enduring appeal.
